Group Faciliites
In addition to the four self catering cottages at Hembury Court's luxury hen party group venue, which sleep a maximum of 17 people, there are a considerable number of extra facilities to help make your hen party relaxing, enjoyable and lots of fun!
Renting all the hen party cottages at this venue allows your hen group exclusive use of the extra facilities, allowing everyone to spread out and have their own space or to enjoy hen party group activities together.
Hot tub
The eight seated hot tub is situated on the South Oak Centre veranda enabling you to relax and enjoy the stunning views. For evening dips there are underwater coloured lights to add to the party feel.
The Oak Cruck
The Oak Cruck function room is approximately 14 metres by 5 metres meaning that there is lots of space to have fun! You can decorate the room according to your taste, and there are oak tables and dining chairs, comfy sofas and a 42" plasma screen TV.
When all the cottages are rented together for a hen party a fully equipped additional kitchen adjacent to the Oak Cruck function room is provided allowing you to dine and socialise together.
Barbecue Veranda
This south facing stone shelter is a real sun trap and houses the large gas barbecue. It has a patio with garden furniture and there are even coloured lights which give a party feel in the evenings.
The Fitness Suite
This is situated in the South Oak Centre with stunning views across the countryside. The room is equipped with a high quality running machine, exercise bike and water rower.
The South Oak Leisure Centre
This beautiful green oak building houses the fitness suite and the hot tub veranda. In addition to this it has a large communal lounge with comfy chairs and a stunning view south over the beautiful countryside. It is used for all sorts of activities, but frequently provides a tranquil setting for a visiting therapist.
The Lawns
We have a large area of lawn for games and relaxing with stunning views across the countryside. We can provide croquet equipment and even a limbo dancing kit, but you may just prefer to relax on the sun loungers.
Bonfires
Bonfires have become one of the favourite activities for many of the hen parties staying at Hembury Court. The bonfire area has benches for sitting around the fire, and is easily accessed over a style from the games lawn. We are happy to provide you with wood and skewers so that you can toast marshmallows!
